How do I remove my sister name from tablet. She gave me this tablet last May 18 18. I want to put my name on acct. As it is my tablet since the last six months.
RankYa 1 day ago
Hi Debbie, you will need to use tablet user manual. From my understanding, all you have to do is find *settings* and add account *your new one* and then delete your sister's account

All of my old video game things on Google when you look up my name and my friends are making fun of me for it. Is there any possible way to remove that? I already told the website admin to remove the photos, and when they did, they still show up on Google. I don’t know what to do, because it’s not really “legal stuff” it’s just really embarrassing lmao. Can anyone help me?
RankYa 29 days ago
If the website owner has removed it as you said, then, Google will also remove it (just allow some time) double check and you'll see it gone from Google results.

This is tricky in a sense that its likely that you share the same surname in Google (and also, there are somehow associations Google has made for these NAMEs in question. What to do? Visit websites that still have these NAME details and modify them, if you can not access these websites for editing them, then, I am afraid positive content must be put out. controlling what shows up in google for NAMEA and NAMEB

I appreciate the attempt to help; however, for those of us that are being harassed through a different domain, they refuse to remove the information without a fee of roughly $350. I have been slandered across five websites and this does not help me in my situation.
RankYa 5 months ago
keep your money in your pocket, instead, slowly create positive content about the name in question (in fact, depending on the matter, and resources, you could create ANY content to a degree the searcher would say/think who is ABC? so with Google results, you always have options, and don't give up (also, very very important is this fact = when ABC is searched by you, do NOT click on the negative results link, instead, click on positive results link (this affects Google rankings)

I've been trying to remove my full name from google search results for about 3 years now. and It's affecting my application to jobs. If I could, I would contract a lawyer to do this for me :( I only got this message: We don’t remove much from search results. To learn what information can be removed, review our removal Policies. Tip: If you can't reach the site's webmaster to have them remove the information, try contacting the site's hosting company. I tried many things, spent many hours, they just don't care about it

perhaps its better to create positive content (you could dominate Google results within short weeks with positive content that you are in control over)

I want to deactivate an embarrassing Pinterest account that comes up if you search my (fucking rare) full name into Google. Pinterest don't let you log in with your account handle (which I know), they make you log in with email and password, but the email I used I don't remember as I made the account when I was thirteen so I don't use that same email and Pinterest won't co-operate with me and tell me what the email is. It's not like a stranger could get into my account if they knew the email, they wouldn't know the password! So I form k ow why Pinterest won't just help a girl out!
RankYa 5 months ago
ignore him/her take charge of your own name online (create positive content about yourself) make sure you have total control of the website your OWN content is on (such as nameSample.com nameSample.me about.me or others

And the reason why it annoys me is that one of my 'friends' always searches my name and makes fun of the account. Acting as if no other 13/14 year old girl was a fangirl and had fangirl accounts. She tries to make me seem stupid for ever having been a fangirl just because she was boring and didn't get into the typical cringe pre teen culture. It's really getting on my nerves. I want to get rid of it anywya because I don't want that to be the top search of my name for the rest of my fucking life

When a company gets big as Google we may understand it to a degree that they can't reply back to all inquiries from millions of its users. And because its it operates within a Global business world that requires different jurisdictions and governing laws, Google policies and guidelines differ depending on country one is in. It's frustrating! Mylife.com is still showing part of my information in Google search results. When I click on the link, it says Uh Oh! 410: Page is Gone We are really sorry but the page you are looking for cannot be found. However, just before clicking on the link my name, age, city and state, and previous address is still appearing. What do I do in this situation? I don't want any part of my life showing up in Google after the company removed my information from their website.

+teev7 Don't get me started on MyLife. They wanted to pay them $35.00 to remove my profile, & it was nothing but all lies. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau , & they worked with me to have it nuked. In about 3 business days, it was gone.

You use this tool for this purpose. First, *for any type of removal request from Google search engine, learn to keep records (days, times, screenshots)* *Search Google* *Copy the URL* and submit, wait around couple of days (perhaps a week) and then double check. If the results you want removed is still there? Conduct the same search, and then, down the below of the search results pages, there is a *Send Feedback* press on that and follow the prompts. Take screenshot using the tool. Your matter will be that *you've submitted a removal request of outdated content, and yet, its still in Google Search. Why? This should resolve your dillemma. And isn't sad that idiots (without other peoples permission, can profile people and boast about how they are featured in popular TV Shows or magazies) money hungry bunch of turds, who walk about thinking they are successful business people? Let's hope these type of website's dates are numbered with the latest EU privacy policies being reflected elsewhere. What you all think?

Those images are coming from YouTube (more than likely) so what you need to do is REMOVE your Google+ profile image (or change it) then Google will replace the new image on image search as well

Hello Abdul, we understand your circumstance because we dealt with many similar cases, the best way we think would be to first visit: and read through it because much depends of what suits you. And the fact is, you should always not ignore but be relentless in your efforts to get that information removed from Google. Because no-one should be punished for something that happened once upon a time. If worse comes to worse, remember that you can easily dominate Google search results to manage your own reputation (especially in today's internet world). Remember, this is your life, and you should be total control of it and not Google

Hi RankYa, your suggestion about setting up an about.me profile is wonderful and after doing so, it ranked 2 for me. However, once I logged out of my google account, and googled my name again, the about.me link disappeared from the search results. Therefore, if anyone not logged into their google account won't see it. Is this normal?
Carrie Ybarra 1 year ago
Got it! Thank you for your quick reply!
RankYa 1 year ago
Hello Carrie, that's actually normal for Google to show different results when logged in or out. However, you can easily share the about.me profile on other profiles you manage, then, Google should move that up in ranking regardless of if someone is logged in or out

What right have they got to publish dates of birth and addresses - this information is usually under the data protection act. Why should I have to create another profile? Even if there aren't any defamatory information on google, don't I have the right to remain anonymous, unless I'm a criminal?
RankYa 1 year ago
I can understand the frustration as many of us would like a better response for dealing with private information which can be access through Google. However, the culprits are usually the website owners where the information if posted on, and the best bet is to report abuse through the web hosting company as getting certain type of information out of Google index is almost impossible

hi, i want to know if you anyone can assist me. I have a very old email account that i have not opened in over 2 years. It was so long ago but my recovery email for this old email address was hacked into years ago(not google) and i think i must have forgot my password by being absent minded and then when i wanted to reset it, i couldn't since the other email was hacked already. I didnt really let it bother me, but years later I am finding that it is showing up in google search results which is a bit annoying because it has been up for years, and there is no need for it to be there but I can't recover the account. They ask me for the recovery email, i put it in even though it was hacked, the month and year (as if anyone can really remember that) I tried my best and I put my name in correctly, and they sent a code to my current email and that code didint work, it just says, google cant verify this account belongs to you can anyone help me? because its kind of frustrating. google wont remove a page on their oudated page removal that is still active. so even though this google account is technically inactive, it is still active and i cant request a removal of it in search results. can anyone help me?
RankYa 1 year ago
I can understand the frustration because most of Google options are all automated, however, unfortunately, the only way I can think is to recover that email address. As you say: and they sent a code to my current email and that code didint work I would try again, and if not good, then start the procedure to *Contact Google*

the websites like cheaters and crazy exs and etc needs to be shutdown not for the fact that people rep being destroyed due to exs who expose truth or assumptions about cheating or crazy exs. it's the fact that they can be traced personally I find dangerous bc there are people out there who would harm people over this. plus if you can get traced it defeats the purpose of exposing exs.

I don't have anything negative about me I just think sites like those are pointless. From what I've heard you can post something for free but have to pay to remove

Don't feel helpless at all, what you can do is, create content that is positive about yourself (there are many free Blogging platform, and also you can utilize Facebook or even YouTube profiles where you mention about yourself) then, this should push the negative results down the page giving the searcher more positive results about yourself)

Note:  I have contacted all of the web sites such as white pages, spokeo, etc. AND they have removed CONTENT. So these web sites have removed my name.It is the GOOGLE SEARCH where my name shows up on Google associated with these web sites - whitepages, spokeo, etc. Once I click on whitepages, spokeo, ALL information has been removed/deleted.  Again, it is the first page of a Google search and my name is still shows up with these web sites, but once I click the web site - there is no information - as these web sites have removed it.  It is the very first page on Google that still lists my name attached to these web site.  How to get rid of this?
RankYa 2 years ago
If this is the case, you don't have to do anything else. Here's why: Google stores website data in its own cache servers so there is always stale copy in Google, however, once it recrawls these websites where you had information (which is now removed) then Google will automatically update its database so that your information won't show up any longer, so I guess now bit of patience is required on your part

At last, a comment that is on RankYa's side, yes most of those so called expert guaranteed removal type of reputation management services do more hard than good and waste $$$$$$ not to mention time that's why I created this new content To the rest of us: if you are living in European Union country you may follow this option In May 2014, a ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union (C-131/12, 13 May 2014) found that certain people can ask search engines to remove specific results for queries that include their name, where the interests in those results appearing are outweighed by the person’s privacy rights.
SO S 9 months ago
Reputation Management cannot remove your name from google or the internet. I have spent thousands using them and all they do is create content or open all kinds of accounts with your name in hopes of pushing any negative or personal searches with your name pages and pages down in google search. Waste of $$$$$$
RankYa 2 years ago
99% of times you can't *remove your name from Google* because the information is hosted on websites which Google does not control. In such cases, only reputation management can help by making the details you want to show up, show up through Google search engine
