Hello, how can I classify the archive by name and not by date ?
Elementor Page Builder for WordPress 2 months ago
Elementor controls the visibility of the archive page, but not the search results.

It works, but you can not create a template of product archive, you need to create a normal archive template and in the display conditions choose only the search results. From there it is only you to use the product listing widget and preferably leave it in the main query.

You need to go into the file utils.php in the folder.\public\wp-content\plugins\elementor-pro\classes and change the text 'Search results for:' in the line 87 (might be another for you) which says: $title = sprintf( __( 'Search results for: %s', 'elementor-pro' ), get_search_query() );

I think I just found a free page builder plugin that does this. It's called Live composer. Here's is their help page that shows how to do it.
Nunya Biznis 1 month ago
I think so because my free version (latest version) only allows you to select page or section. There is no archive option to select.

In your promo video: you show how the search results page has an Ajax search bar. Just with Elementor, is it possible to create such a page so that when a user enters a search term in any search input box on the site, it'll take them to that dynamic page shown in the promo with the search term pre filled in?

This looks great, but one small question. how do I change the text if this needs to be another language. I am from Holland and my visitors will want to see something other than 'Search Results for'. Maybe I missed it?
Andy Verweij 7 months ago
Exacly my thought. I'm not a coder. Since i don't understand it I'd like to avoid it so future problems won't appear.
HBwebdesign 7 months ago
Thank you, Andy, even if the solution by Artneo works, it shouldn't be necessary if you get a pagebuilder so you don't have to code.
Andy Verweij 7 months ago
Your fellow Dutchmen have the same question. C'mon Elementor, get this feedback worked out!

I get it, thank you!
