Just saying coz That's my country and I'm so happy tamera and Tamar both got some congolese in them. I knw that video was years ago but I just found it so, still commenting lool.

I don't get this; if you're African American it definitely means some of your ancestors were slaves - why is it coming out like some new fact? Or am I missing something?

I am white British, I really enjoyed this and just wanted you to know the original English and Celtic tribes were slaves to to the Roman's. So here is the start of a mixed DNA even before the African slave trade started. Maybe we are all related in some way because of our World history?

This segment kinda annoys me like honestly if you have slaves in you lineage odds are you’ll have British or Spanish also , that’s who brought them here, I’m honestly surprised they all were so shocked when we learn that in like 1st grade. 🤦🏽‍♀️

The more and more i watch the clips with or without T.B, i see how much ol girl (biggie) really dislikes Tamera. And Tamera is just herself. But it seems because Tamera doesn't do the common things they do, it's looked at as being better but that's just biggies insecurities within herself

I appreciate that she pointed out the nature of being black & having white DNA (& not having recent immediate ancestors who are white or knowingly mixed) & the implications of it.
Khairi Khan 10 months ago
The real issue is that MOST FOLKS DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RACE, ETHNICITY, & NATIONALITY. The Moors (my people), who were dark skinned Islamic North Africans with ties to Morocco, inhabited the Iberian peninsula (Spain/Portugal) for 800 years.

Tamera, that means you all mixed up hunny.

Shayna Dorsey 10 months ago
My results very surprising but I’m like Tamera I accepted every single one of them, because if one of those ancestors didn’t exist, I would be a totally different person. They make up my family and who I am today.

These slaves are Africans from specific and old nations. Let's not reduce ourselves or them to simply slave because they didn't accept the term. 'Enslaved Africans' is more accurate and 'European human traffickers/kidnappers' more accurate as opposed to slave masters

I don't know if people will tell me to shut up when I say this, but I'm partly English, and was brought up in England, and I just want to say that I am so so sorry for anything that the English did in the time's of slavery. If I could change it I would, it make's me feel sick.

My dna test was very emotional for me. My dad is Africa America and my mom is Korean. So I had what my dad had but there was something not from him so it had to be from my mom.She thought she was just Korean. It was surprising because my mom never new about her self because she was born in Korea and was adopted by my grandparents. My mom’s mom died soon after so she left her sister and her brother and came here not knowing about her self. Any way my dna matched with someone who was my moms cousin. Both of them had similar stories. So I was happy my mom had found someone from her family. My mom was so grateful to find someone and for my grandparents because she could have died but they did so much to help her and if the didn’t I wouldn’t be here today. Also it wasn’t so sad because I found some really cool stuff about me and I was a lottttttttt.

Where the hell did Tamera think her blackness came from? Damn she is dumber than a box of rocks if she has lived this long without knowing that her ancestors were obviously on a slave plantation somewhere. I hope her sister is not as dumb.

I did Ancestry.com, and used third party sites and Wegene.com I recently had my mother done as well on Ancestry.com and DNA.land. My mother is more diverse than me. We have similar African DNA I am more Ghana and she is more Nigerian. I have more Finland Russia 6% to her 2%. Then my mother has 8% Ireland, 2% Iberian, that I do not have have. Although, Ancestry DNA 4th cousin matches me to many Iberian (Primary DNA). DNA.Land expands the research to tribal. My mother and me matched the African Tribes, yet she's 3.1 percent Asian, Iranian, Pakistani, Italian. My point is, I am obliviously whatever my mom is. I would not know this had she not take the test. So, if only you took the test, then you're only getting part of the story. The doesn't mean that you are only what is listed.

Everyone's ancestry are survivors. Living in the past wasn't easy, no advanced medical care, disease everywhere, lack of food, and so on. Let's not discredit the rest of the world's history in favor of a single group. We shouldn't forget that group's history of course but I feel like theres a bigger story to tell.
